ABSTRACT: This study explored the benefits of peer tutoring programs in early childhood education. The objectives were to: (1) evaluate the impact of peer tutoring on academic performance, (2) assess the role of peer tutoring in enhancing social skills, and (3) determine the effectiveness of peer tutoring in fostering self-confidence. A survey design was chosen to collect data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with peer tutoring programs. A sample size of 150 participants, including preschool educators, parents, and children, was selected through purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Kano State, Nigeria.
